Clever protective covers.
A Cunningham waterproof tarpaulin is one of the strongest industrial textile materials available. Known as Rip-Stop or Cotton-Poly Canvas, its advantage over natural cotton canvas comes from the improved characteristics of a material that combines natural cotton and man-made polyester. This combination gives it improved strength and resistance to rough handling, abrasion and ripping, while at the same time being waterproof and retaining the breathability of 100% cotton canvas.
Features:
Rip-Stop canvas is the perfect material with which to cover steel during transit or while being stored outdoors. The breathability property stops condensation and thus prevents the steel from rusting. Cunningham supplies many of the UK's leading steel companies with high-quality rip-stop canvas covers which can be ordered from stock sizes or custom-made to bespoke design specification.
Our 610gsm heavy duty PVC tarpaulin has a polyester base cloth, coated in PVC. The end result is a durable, UV stabilised high strength waterproof and rot proof cover. It is also available as a flame retardant option.
Features:
The finished tarpaulin with re-enforced taped edging, welded for strength, and brass eyelets is equivalent to 640gsm. Eyelets can positioned to your specification with a choice of industrial elastic (bungee loops) or rot proof rope.
A Cunningham PVC tarpaulin, made to measure to suit any shape or size is the perfect protection for high value assets.
Company names logo-style or other branding can be applied to the cover using Cunningham's state-of-the-art print system ensuring a professional and elegant finish.
All our tarpaulin covers are custom made to order. We accept orders online or by phone. Due to current raw material shortages and pandemic related repercussions, our normal swift lead time has been extended. Maximum lead time is currently 8 weeks but with continuous improvements and a levelling out of the impact we fully expect to pull this lead time back.
